Magpies Pre-School
Magpies Pre-School has been established since 1994 and is now part of the Rowner Sure Start Children’s Centre. The pre-school runs in the Nimrod Community Centre where we occupy two spacious halls and a garden where the children have free access all year around. We have a very good Ofsted report and have received ‘Outstanding in our S.E.J.A.R. Through Hampshire County Council. Magpies has eight experienced and highly qualified staff who pride themselves in their longevity and dedication in their roles within the setting.
Magpies Pre-School is registered to take children the term after their second birthday. We offer a concessionary fee for children until the term after their third birthday.
Our opening hours are:
Monday to Thursday 9am until 3 pm
Friday 9am until 12pm
Children who are entitled to two year old funding can attend ten hours per week. If you are not eligible for this Magpies charge a concessionary rate of £6.00 for a 2.5 hours session this is until your child is eligible for three year old funding the term after they are three. We run a lunch club and aim to be as flexible as possible to meet both your needs and your child. Magpies is an inclusive setting and we are committed to safeguarding all children.
